ClioSoft signs New Link Technology as new distributor for Korea
USA - January 9, 2016 - ClioSoft (www.cliosoft.com), a specialist in system-on-chip (SoC) design data and intellectual property (IP) management solutions for the semiconductor design industry, has selected New Link Technology as the exclusive distributor and technical representative in South Korea for its products.
“Increasing demand for design and IP management in the Korean electronics industry was the driver for this relationship,” said Ranjit Adhikary, director of marketing at ClioSoft.
“NewLinkTek’s experience representing products from Atrenta (now part of Synopsys), Netspeed and Cadence gives them unparalleled technical and market expertise supporting SoC design teams and makes them a very good fit for ClioSoft.”
ClioSoft’s SOS management platform provides management and revision control of SoC design data and IPs to streamline the design process.
By enhancing communication and facilitating efficient and accurate sharing of design data from concept through tape-out, SOS allows multi-site design collaboration for dispersed development teams. SOS enables designers across multiple design centers to increase productivity and efficiency in their design flows.
Tight integration with EDA tools from Cadence Design Systems®, Keysight Technologies, Mentor Graphics and Synopsys provides a cohesive design environment for all types of digital, analog, RF and mixed-signal designs.
In addition to enabling design engineers to manage design data and tool features from the same cockpit, SOS provides integrated revision control, release and derivative management, and issue tracking interfaces to commonly-used bug tracking systems. This helps reduce the possibility of design re-spins due to incorrect configurations.
“Many designers in South Korea are now collaborating with geographically-dispersed design teams to create cutting edge SoCs,” said Young-Tae Yu, CEO of New Link Technology.
“ClioSoft provides the best possible solution for multi-site design collaboration for all types of designs – analog, digital, RF and mixed signal -- even as they deliver the ability to improve design management and IP reuse. Their SOS platform is also tightly integrated with design tools from all the major companies that our clients use every day for designing SoCs . We are pleased to be able to be able to offer South Korean SoC designers a comprehensive and market-tested data and IP management system.”
